With the largest rental fleet of traction batteries in the United Kingdom, Norco can offer immediate access to any battery types. To complement this operation Norco provides comprehensive fleet management services to support companies operating with either Norco owned or customer owned equipment.
Contract Extension
In the current economic climate it may not be viable to invest heavily in purchasing new electric fork lift trucks, batteries and associated equipment.
Trucks have a longer life span than the average battery, which leaves many of our customers with the choice to either make a significant commitment to purchasing new batteries, or to look for an alternative, more cost effective solution.
Norco provide a wide range of customised offerings to suit individual customers and their requirements and budgets. There are many options available including flexible rental, buy back and re-hire and our unique Power for Life offering.
Flexible Rental
Contract extensions can be supported through our flexible rental offering as this is the most simple, flexible and risk-free way to acquire a traction battery or charger for any length of time. Norco offer immediate access to a diverse inventory of products and can fulfil all requirements, from the most common battery types to the more obscure.
Norco rental agreements are flexible with no obligation to sign for long periods. The minimum hire period is 4 weeks with no maximum term. Discounts are applied for longer term requirements.
Buy Back and Re-Hire
This offering is suitable for customers that own their own fleet of batteries. Norco will assess the profile of your fleet including age and condition, and will offer a price to purchase the fleet. The fleet will then be rented back to the customer at the most suitable weekly rate to suit their budget. With our buy back and re-hire offering customers benefit from the associated advantages of our rental offering including our guarantee that every battery supplied by us will perform in excess of 80% of its rated capacity; if it does not then we will supply a replacement.
Power for Life
Having recognised the need of the industry to reduce its whole of life contract costs and remove the burden of battery fleet issues, Norco have developed a unique Power for Life offering.
Norco Power for Life is a wholly service-driven offering that delivers an all-inclusive battery topping, maintenance, repair, cell replacement and product replacement programme for a defined term and for payment of a fixed monthly fee.
This service is available on both old and new batteries.
